Your guess is as good as mine. Thats how it came. They kinda look like 53 buick. Anyone have any idea if there original or what they came off of. Thanks

  14. Wow! I saw and photographed that car at "the Woodfire" this past Saturday night.

The car is very cool and the work is nice. I can't believe it's the same Aqua Chevy. Ya done real good, man!

    Congratulations!

    Joel

A 5 1/2 inch chop on a FLEETLINE of all things, on your first chop job??? You got total balls man, and my respect. That don't take too much tho. :D Looks killer.

I like the copper idea, maybe do the scallops in a darker, more earth-tone like version of the same color, like a dark burnt orange, and a silver pinstripe around it maybe. Just my thoughts tho.

Makes me want to grab a hacksaw and run out to the garage!! Great job, Cyclebilly. I have a 49 Fleetline also, and this is really inspiring me.

I am going to have to do my chop job myself, and I'm wondering if you have any tips/ things you wish you'd known before you started? How did you do the windshield/gl***? Cut or recessed?

Thanks for giving me something to aspire to!

that is a cool 50's style ride...almost like something Barris did back then.

Nice work...and cool way you chopped it.
