took out the new Buick that just got delivered last night and took it for a drive with the wife today and this jack ass backed up into me...saw him coming all the way but the jerk off wasn't even looking! Luckily our grandparents knew how to build things that last and were tough...nothing major happened just the bumper on the driverside got push back about and inch or so....just my luck too! Plus it is suppose to rain all weekend!

So what do you think of the new ride? Haven't decided what I want to do with it yet...most likely drop it soon and drive it stock for a while.

Not too bad for an Ebay purchase....

It will look great after you remove the side chrome and sell it to me for next to nothing. :)

Seriously, very slick ride...drop it some, and leave it alone.

Somebody already did some customizing by putting on that Mercury side trim!

Yes, but nobody ever had a 1951 Mercury with Buick side trim on a 1988 Lincoln Town Car frame :)

EXACTLY what I had in mind supersized! Thanks! That most likely will be what it will look like once it is done. Until then just need to lower it and drive it like everyone else has said.

I have already dove it for about 4 hours today no problems running.

Oh and to answer the engine question it is a Straight 8

Nope, that's original buick side trim.
As far as the straight 8... is it stock or has it got dual carbs, dual exhaust, or any other mods? Looks beautiful by the way.

Nope it is stock as of right now. has the single carter carb and single exhaust. Eventually will go with 2 carb set up and dual exhaust.

Nice car, the above is what I'd do. Get some use out of it, work out any bugs and use as is until you need to do a face lift. Then whip out the sawzall.

Skirt it, slam it, drive it...

Flippers are cool. Caddy's look good...I don't like Fiestas but that's me...Hell, the stock Buick caps look pretty damn good too.

Ya can't go wrong with a Buick...nice score.

    Scotch~!

As nice as it is now you can go slow on the modifications and enjoy the car while it's being changed. NICE RIDE, congrats.
