Had my 57 country sedan tuned up at a shop last week. Got delivered and deposited in the drive way-backwards. No problem-just driver around in a circle and into the garage! First time she has moved under her own power in 40+ years. Felt really good even with all of her glitches. Here is a video of her running. She is at a high idle due to some vacuum leaks that I have to sort out. Then I will drop her down and lean her out.

They tuned it with the vacuum leaks? Seems odd.

Looks to me like it has a high idle because the choke is almost closed.

Yeah, he set it up to run that way temp. I have to change out intake gaskets, sand the intake to head surfaces and install a 1/2” spacer and re***emble. That should take out the leaks and then I will drop the rpm’s and lean her out.
