first flame attempt

OK, I cheated a little, used vinyl(gasp) it was an experiment at first but I liked the way it looked.

should add, used vinyl pinstriping, did the flames myself.

 

Flames+Vinyl=Flannel.

 

LOL yeah I know, I know. Its just temporary but I thought it looked pretty good.

 

That looks great for a first try! You have a good eye for layout work. If you used layout tape (that's what it looks like) & not striping tape (the kind you leave on), then all you need to do is tape it off, sand, & shoot. If you'll post some shots of the rest of it, we can give you tips on where you can improve it. But as I said; it's great for a first try.

judging by the tiny blurry picture it looks like you did a pretty good job, I would suggest going on to the doors on the sides but thats just me

 

I agree - great job. The blue tape looks like blue fine line now just mask it off and fog the flames
