First flame job

I thought I would share the first painting I've ever done. The lay out of the flames took a while but painting was quick and now I think I'll outline them in white.

 

Looks like the old "hand rubbed" style...very traditional! If that's what you were going for, I'd say you nailed it.

 

Pretty good for your first try. Are you still gonna change the wheels and tires?

Hey what's going on with that roof? Is that paint or just light reflections? Can't tell if you filled it with a ribbed panel or what.

Just curious. I always like to see what folks do to fill em in....

SoWhat I'm not sure if I'm changing the wheels yet but I'll let you know if I do. The roof has ribs and I painted them lime gold metalflake. Now I'm making a base for my caddy air cleaner to go over the two four barrels.
