Looking for first hand info and maybe a photo or two. These wing windows. My project is getting close to paint and I would like to install new rubbers again. Last time I used seals from Steel products. They were basically a Flat piece and when installed had a buckle in the corner and Wind leaked like a Big Dog. You can see the buckle in the corner after years of being installed. I don't want to go there again. When my 53 Panel truck came home I did take notice of the new rubber on one wing window. It actually fits very nice in the corners as well as against the glass frame. I have bought tons of rubber from Dennis Carpenter, some with mixed results. I looked at the wing seals they make and it says this. Quote; Exact To Orig, Manufactured on molds built in house from original blueprints. Not one detail overlooked. Exact shape of vent window. End of quote. I decided to remove the seal from the Panel truck and see if it is a Carpenter unit being I know they brand all the rubber they make. This piece actually fits pretty good where it's going to live but there is only one, the right side is still an Old rubber or I'd lift them and move on. Add to it not a single brand on it. I don't know who's it is plus I need a pair. Who can show me close up photos of a pair of Dennis Carpenter vent window seals in place? Last week I called there tec line but didn't get a call back.
