well I took the leap and got me some old school. First time posting on here but have gone over a lot of the treads for info. I am a muscle car guy but wanted something low and slow. Got me a 52 Buick off of CL this weekend, She's pretty solid. Few little spots of rust and needs some floor pan patches but for 500.00!cant complain. It's been subframe with a monte front end and a ford 8" for triangulated 4 link.. Has all the chrome and a pretty nice bumper. Came with at sbc but looking for a nailhead to toss in. looking at maybe a 3" chop with keeping the stock rear glass. But haven't decided for sure yet.
for $500 that's a deal just to be safe , i'd check over the workmanship on the front subframe and rear end swap VERY closely
Yeah that's what i thought, pretty sure I already have the sbc/trans sold for 500 so car is pretty much free now lol. That was the first thing I checked , I measured everything and welds look good, gonna clean it up a bit but I'm a welder so other people's welds are th first thing I check lol
