Well let's try this again, for some reason I can't find my original post.

I have always wanted a chopped merc/ buick and a few months ago picked me a 52 Buick. It has already been subframed which sets its stance pretty nice.

I started with filling the side trim holes.
I frenched my first set of headlights.
Then got a little off track when I scored a nice set of seats that I dyed from a grey to brown

This weekend I took the big step into my chop. I wanted a subtle chop so I am doing a 3". this is my first chop and curved rear gl*** is hard enough so 3" is plenty.
Everything went great with chop. A pillars are lined up and in the process of getting my rear gl*** angle looking good. I will keep updating with pictures as I make progress

The way I see it, he is 500 dollars ahead of the game. After he pulls the drivetrain out of the TA, he can sell the TA body for 500 bucks on CL. There you go, 500 bucks in the pocket, and you have a Buick with a TA drivetrain, can it get any better than this!!!!

As for money yes I pretty much broke even on the car with the sbc that was in it. After looking at my olds motor it was needing a whole rebuild and trans soooooo things have changed. I sure hope this doesn't get my build removed but I have a 94 12 valve ***mins with a nv4500 5spd that is now going to be the power plant!! Can you say 20-30mpg as well as 400hp/600tq. The emblem hole on the front will be my air intake piped in and those pretty port holes will be my exhaust holes

Made a lot of progress last night, guess that's what happens when you take a 5hr energy at 10pm lol. Finishing up drivers side today, building curves for side gl*** then pacthing behind rear gl*** later this week. The roof line turned out very nice I think.
