This is my first post, but have have found the H.A.M.B. to be a great resource for my Ford/Lancia project. The basis of the car is a modified Model T frame (boxed and Z'd), Model A axles, and a 1926 or '27 Lancia Lambda V-4 engine. My dad bought the major components from a antique car junk yard in Gardena, CA in about 1959. I think it was the Mayfield Garage on Western, But I was only four years old and don't remember many of the details. The engine and trans were grafted into the T frame many years before. Must have been a real performer for the late 20's/ early 30's when I suspect the car was built. The Lancia Engine produces about 70 horsepower and the engine/trans combination is significantly lighter than the original Modet T's. The car sat behind my dad's garage until his death in 2005. We were always going to build a speedster together, but never did. I hauled all the stuff home and started the project about a year ago. There was no body on the car. I like old school boattaled speedsters and desided to make the body myself. Here are the results to date.
