Hey guys, I have been lurking for awhile gathering info for my next build. I'm looking for an A. That's not the point though, I've been on the prowl looking for parts for the build. I found a guy with a Winters quick change with 4 extra sets of gears for 550. It's got the bells and tubes but it's a spool. I didn't know if I could get a locker for it or not. I am trying not to spend a fortune so I thought this might be good deal. PS I started buying engine parts also. I got a Mallory dizzy (circa: a long time ago?) dual point dizzy and Eddy 3X2 intake for a Ford Y-block for $200! Thanks guys.

If it's a larger "stock car" quick change, you might be able to use the carrier from a 1950's Ford 3/4 ton rearend with regular spider gears. What spline are your axles?

I'm not sure. I haven't got it yet, I'm just not sure if I should get it.
