Interesting, but I should have been more clear. What's the history of the Weiand/Edelbrock/Offy tunnel rams you still commonly see, when did they first go into production?
As I understand the tunnel ram was created when someone cut the top off a Chevrolet fuel injection manifold and mounted two carbs on top. Debatable who thought of it first. Read McFarlands article.
