History First PRODUCTION tunnel ram?

  1. Anyone got a date, and photos/old magazine ads to back it up?

  3. Interesting, but I should have been more clear. What's the history of the Weiand/Edelbrock/Offy tunnel rams you still commonly see, when did they first go into production?

As I understand the tunnel ram was created when someone cut the top off a Chevrolet fuel injection manifold and mounted two carbs on top.

Debatable who thought of it first. Read McFarlands article. McFarland has a high opinion of himself and takes credit for most of the innovations at Edelbrock through his view of history.
