First (REAL)Test Drive 50 Merc

Today was the day! Actually just got back. First time besides pulling in and out of the garage.Needless to say,I have to relax a lil',cause i'm still a lil' shaky! (in a good way!) Been 5 yrs,working on getting a "cheese grater" going. Lotsa bumps in the road,building something that "never was",and going for it. I didn't know what to expect. Started,stopped,ran fine. Just **** blowing in my face without the windshield. Got up to 35mph (in a residential) and barely nailed it- whoh! left marks in the street,scared the **** out of me. I can get used to this...... Just thought i'de share.
I know we've all been through this before,but it's been a while.

Cool, that first loop around the block under a rigs own power is always a thrill to be remebered.
