Loaded up the new roadsters Glide seat and all the black leather in the back of HOWARD (32 Ford PU) and headed for the upholstery shop in Lincoln today. Must have been the right day as several truckers gave me the horn and people were waving. Good to be back on the road. Truck with it's little 265 SBC felt comfortable running close to 80 for the 100 mile trip to Lincoln. Is was a good day.
I bet it did feel good! Whenever I put my 51 back together and had it pretty much roadworthy I took a short trip up to Jackson Tn and ate me some Casey Jones. That was one of the best trips I ever made in that car and I put some miles on the rascal
Thanks @krylon32 Nothing ( no joke now ) beats the feeling of being carried to the horizon in the car that you have built.
