first start for the new motor

i pulled the 56 into the garage around 10:30 wednesday night, and ripped out the 223.
put in the 302, and started it for the first time last night.
all i need is a driveshaft and exhaust work.
plans are to drive it to the san francisco rod and custom show thursday.
we'll see if it makes it.

 

nice! i love the sound of a fresh fire-up......gets the blood pumping..looking forward to the cow palace show too.
