Hello, my name is Larry and I'm a lurker. With the support and encouragement from caring friends (most notably hotrodladycrusr, peter pan of chicago and chris50) I am attempting to change - one day at a time. I first discovered this site several years ago, bookmarked it immediately and have started each work day with it since. The HAMB has been a rich source of information and guidance. It is also my first choice for news - good, bad, happy, sad - I hear it here first. It is nothing short of amazing and I sincerely thank all who take the time to post. On occasion I have had the desire to add a comment to a thread, perhaps fill-in a trivial detail or to ask a question but my computer skills have been slow in coming. I hope to rectify that in the days and months to come.
I'm so proud of you taking that first step! You think you were addicted before....you haven't seen anything, and now that you can reply to threads.....watch out HAMB world! Welcome aboard sweetie! It was wonderful to meet you on Saturday. I'm looking forward to seeing you again at the PileUp. xoxoxo
Larry... Larry... Larry... now that you registered, you will never get anything done. Welcome aboard... officially! BTW, this is Mike... one of the newest Vintage Tin members and a good friend of Chris .
Whoa! I thought no one would even notice - you guys sure are quick and really know how to make a person feel welcome. Thanks! Denise: Meeting you on Saturday was the highlight of my entire weekend. I said you were my hero (heroine?) and I meant it. BTW your Dad was right - Rich Guasco, AMBR 1961 only. Mike: Stopped to talk (always a pleasure) with your Dad, Uncle Nick and Jim on Saturday just minutes before attempting to carjack Denise. In fact she and I spoke about you for a bit - pig roasts, lamp shades and other possible inclusions in the next club bulletin.
Holy Smokers!!!!!!!!! Now ya made it here too! Congrats, Larry, this has now become a better place with you here. Things are gonna get real good now! Joel
