Hot Rods First time installing a TH350

I see some misinformation here There is no TV cable on a T350. There is a kickdown cable but it serves a entirely different function than a TV cable. As far a strength I ran one behind an L88 with Nitrous in a sand rail and never hurt it in 3 years. it was a close tolerance rebuild with Raybestos clutches and a good convertor,

 

Nobody here ever said there was a TV cable on a TH350. The OP was talking about swapping from a TH350 to a 700R4/4L60E due to durability issues with the TH350s he's had. Of course, the 700R4 has a TV cable and 4L60E a TPS.
