Ok I think you are off to a good start...I agree with others..practice makes perfect...if you wanna be great you gotta practice...but you seem to have what it takes...I never had artistic talent...just dont, I can't draw a straight line if I had to... But you could make something outa yourself IF YOU WANT TO!!!!!!! SO keep on pluggin and make everyone proud!!!! DON'T tell youself everthing looks like*****, just tell yourself one day I'll be one of the best......And you will..... and just my opinion.... AND REALLY don't take this to heart...cause my opinion is basicly worthless....but.....Draggin****.....I find you to be a little hard headed******......Not pickin a fight....just think you need to REALLY think about what you say sometimes.... I can, and have acted the same way... But really.... Take some advise....you have your head in the right place....but your all out of focus...know what I mean???? Not trying to start anything...just like you are giving chevrddr88 honest opinions, I am giving you mine.... Don't take it the wrong way...pm me if you want, don't waste the boards bandwith...and I have no actual problem with you..just feel sometimes, u really dont think about what you say, like your first post on this thread, verses your second...Your second was heart to heart casue you had time to think....your first was pure******......remember the whole used oil thing... come on... anywho...pm me if you want...ttyl
Saw this thread a few days ago and talked Tony into swinging by my garage on his way to the rumble. It's now a cooler place because of it. The pic doesn't really do it justice Tony's a good dude, and his prices are beyond right. Indiana HAMBrs should seize a rare opportunity.
really ! i was the worse striper.i've ever met..but,i had no refrence or help.i looked through all the old books and mags.i studied most of the striping around the shop(wich was frank palmers work)my style was very close to his.but,mc phail helped me more than anyone else..so practice,practice,practice..i striped for five years for free.and i didn't start on cars..you need to wait and have a good flow.you'll know when you have it.it will come natural..and no drawing it out.. this panel is 3 years old..i did this in 20 minutes. good luck !
