First time writer, long time reader

Hello all, it seemed like every time I asked the internet a question about something I was unsure of, the Jalopy Journal was always at the top of the search results. I've worked in parts for over 20 years, mainly managing two of the big box retailers. I've always had a passion for old cars, and learning more. When an old timer would come in and ask for parts, I made sure I helped him, and listened. My main reason for joining this group is to learn, I believe building hot rods as we all know it is a dying art. I hope I can instill my passion in my little one for when she's old enough, and hopefully be like one of the old-timers I spoke to when I was younger, and have all the answers to the new build. Secondly, I hope to expand my network and help me with my new "real" job, which is Rear Differential parts and 3rd member sales. I'm not sure of all the rules to the forum yet, hopefully I can post some things in the classifieds section, as we specialize in '55 to '64 Chevy Car 55P, Ford 9", and Chrysler 8.75" 3rd members. I also hope to come across some people that can help me better help some of our customers. I have had some calls asking for Chevy 55T, HO52 and HO72 parts that I really can't seem to find anywhere, and I hate saying "No, I can't help you there". So, to whom it may concern, thanks for reading, I hope to help and contribute the best I can as well. Thanks!
