I need some information on fitting a 1965 Mustang V-8 radiator into a 1929 Model A. I was reading that you have to reverse the flow of the radiator. I have no idea on how to do that. I am using a Chevy 350 engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've been off line for a long time so I guess I missed your intro. Anyway what their probably talking about is a need to change the radiator hose locations. Bout any rad. shop can do it for about $50.00. It depends how the water pump feeds and what accesories you have in the way.

Chopped is correct. The radiator hose outlets on some Fords are opposite those on a Chevy and may need to be moved. However, I use a '66 Mustang V-8 radiator in my coupe (with a Chevy 350) and the bottom hose connection is on the correct (p***enger) side. The top outlet is not a problem; there are many different thermostat housings available so you can put the top hose wherever you need it to connect to the radiator.

To help avoid future misunderstandings, thare is no such thing as a "reverse flow radiator". Radiators either flow from side to side (crossflow) or from top to bottom (conventional or vertical flow).

v6 and v8 mustangs had the outlet on different sides. If you were buying one from like a napa or somewhere I'd look at the summit aluminum ones which are the same price and have an option of left or right outlet.
