Hi guy's, i wondered how you made access to the fiulgauge-sender through your '32 roadster trunkfloor, pictures and mesurements are very wellcome. Standardtank that is..
When I needed to service my sender, I removed the tank. Unbolted the spreader bar, unhooked fuel line, etc. Slid tank out the back. Not that difficult when the tank is almost empty. Phil
If you are going to do the unbolt and slide method, make sure to leave enough slack in the wiring for the sender. Or a connector plug in an accessible place.
Not a Roadster, but the stock floor pans had an opening and cover. I also put extra length hose and wire so I could access it by pulling spreader bar and sliding tank to the rear.
