Flame Suggestions?

Mark Artis is going to paint flames on my 55 and he said black flames with overlaping colored tips and blue tips. I'm not very good at visualizing things and thought maybe someone has a picture of this? Thanks in advance Jim

 

Black on black? why bother! I'm sorry but I've never been a fan of Ghost flames either. if you don't have the balls to run flames that jump off the car, leave it as is

 

I have to agree.

Personally, my opinion of flames on a black car is to do them in traditional and bold white/yellow/orange/red, maybe even with bright blue pinstriping. Always an outstanding choice if the layout is done artistically.

I also have seen blue/purple flames that look good, or even some green/gold combos.

As long as we are discussing flame opinions, I really dislike the "real" style flames, but then I am sure you were not going there...
