Model t coils generate their own spark trigger, eliminating the need for the buzzbox. A friend has one on a i6 truck, he chokes the **** out of it and lights em up.

Spend your time and money on speed parts. Flame throwers are for flamers.

If anyone is still interested in doing this, I made a kit a while back using parts from Radio Shack. All it is is a very small circuit that imitates the distributor, ie. creates pulses of 12v which will fire a coil. The most expensive part for it is a relay that will kill the power to the distributor for the car. At the most it's probably going to cost you around 5 or 6 dollars. It works like many others I saw posted before, you flip a switch and pump the gas pedal like crazy. The beauty of it is that it is pretty simple to build and there are no moving parts to break or fail. Let me know and I can draw up a schematic of what I did.

You could build mine without the relay just to spark a coil with the flick of a switch. You would have to figure out how to inject the gas or propane, although I'm sure it would be pretty simple to run it off of the same switch that you would use for the sparker. The sky is the limit really.

No, I just rank flame throwers around crying baby dolls, poodle skirts, spinning hubcaps, gold plating, neon, engraved gl***, and crown air fresheners.
Goofy in my opinion. Hooking propane up? Give me a break.

Anyone ever used fuel injectors? I have some left over from a Seabring engine swap.
