Yeah there's a ton of pearl over the sea foam, you can't really see it much until it's in the sun...

Yeah I'm really torn, I want it to pop, but still be kind of tame. I'm gonna let the striper have a little say in it, see what they think.

I didn't think that car could get better, but I was wrong.

I'd say silver but if you trust the striper, let 'em work his magic, they usually have great instincts.

I like the licks, well done!

Not really bored, but I have been thinking of these flames for a while. I even had JamesD photoshop them on there for me at one point.

i would keep the striping very subtle. that is one classy lookin car, and i think if you go to loud with the one shot, its gonna take a little bit of class out of it. just my 2 cents, but no matter what you use, that is still one killer car!!!

    Good eye on the design!
As for stripe colors, for maximum "pop" you'd want the color opposite on the color wheel. Yours is a blue-green kinda color. Opposite blue is orange, opposite green is red. Orangey red would be it....I'd suggest a similar color, how about a copper color...lighten it up a bit to tone it down some.
You could also use one of the colors that the Abalone flake throws....greenish, gold, or back to a reddish color.
Or...if you have a good pinstriper, just let him pick the color!
They usually have pretty good taste.

On the stripes, both answers are already here. If you want subtle, a light grey, and maybe fatten up the stripes on the bottom side for a shadowing effect. If you want it to pop, choose an orangish red, or copper color.

On the masking, I buy 12" transfer tape through my local sign lady. It runs me about $20 bucks for a roll, and lasts for a few jobs. More important than what it costs is the time that it saves me.

Insurance is going to start going up on 50's Buicks, there sure are a lot of them catching fire this year.......Yours looks great.

Cool zman. I think they really work well on that car. I love it!!!!

I could do without the wheels but I know that some people go crazy for them so I can definitely respect that. I feel like chrome steelies and spider caps would make it the shnizzle.
