I am replacing the inline six in my '64 Step side with a SBC V8. I have googled until my fingers got sore searching for a business that sells flanged exhaust header pipes that will bolt to Chevy ram horn cast iron exhaust manifolds on a '64 Chevy truck. The ram horn manifolds dump straight down in the middle and have a three bolt flange. The mufflers are THRUSH gl*** packs 2" diameter in and out, and the exhaust will exit in front of the rear tires. Walker offers a crossover under the oil pan OEM type single pipe system but doesn't offer a dual exhaust head pipes system. Any ideas other than going to the local muffler shop? I don't want to go with any of the tubular headers offered by Summit or JEGS, which would make the job easier. Just don't want the heat that headers generate. Most of the Cl***ic Truck Parts outlets ( Brothers, LMC Trucks, Tuckers, Jim Carters, etc) do not sell exhaust pipes for ram horn exhaust. I prefer doing the exhaust system myself.

They use a necked spout & a floating flange with a doughnut gasket.

Just got one for each side made at Midas. $50 for two 90 degree elbows with flange. They bent them up while I waited. If you aren't using the heat riser on p*** side you need one donut that is beveled on one side and flat on the other.

Thanks F-6. I will bring a drawing with measurements to the local Midas shop. The price is very fair. I am willing to pay more if they can be bought on the internet. My truck will not have a heat riser. The ram horn manifolds are much newer than the '64 Chevy truck and use beveled donuts on both sides.

See if they might be offered for the tri 5 cars. Should clear everything on your truck. I think.
