sorry guys- i guess i must have put this in the wrong area! hopefully this is the spot!
i have a question. on a fiberglass body- after flaking . how long should the flash times be in between coats of clear ? also - how long do you wait to sand the couple of coats of clear to even and smooth over the cleared flake to apply the final coats of clear on?? -- goufos

What kind of clear? Really it'll depend on your hardener you choose to use, Fast, slow etc. along with the reducer you used, also outside temp. Was it quite warm today when you did it? 6 to 8 hours will allow wet sanding, usually. Test a area to see how it feels. does it leave a finger print when you touch it, does it still feel sticky? Then let dry longer. If it balls up on the sandpaper when you wet sand it, it's still a little soft, so let it dry out longer. Some clears I have found still need to dry out longer, maybe a day or more before recoat or they will lift. Then ya got bigger problems. Mike
