    You have to post in the form of a question for people to "need" to answer.

    Like, did you have those on the same car that had the hood ornament swan with the plastic wings that light up? :D

    The tool dealers make something like this for testing ignitions- a guy I worked with had planned to get a complete set of 8 so he could test ignition on a v8 with it running, seemed like a pretty good idea. Don't know if I'd run it on my daily driver for everyday use tho'.

    I think they might be cool on a hoodless car for the fact that normal people will think an engine is supposed to make flashy lights while running, as normal people have never seen a running engine in front of their faces.

    Although I have to tell you, I usually see these on Sportys ridden by yuppie biker-wannabees, and when I do I get the urge to throw a jack handle in their forks.

    They look like a cheap replacement for the Anderson clear glass spark plugs that came out 103 years ago.:D
