http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/message?forumid=146844&messageid=1077372592 This off of ****, it's another Hank young bike. I think it looks a lil' to flying Pan to me, also I don't like the buick drum, covers up tp much of the wheel. -Jesse
Thanks! I'm with ya - not sure I care for all that, but I'm digging the drilled I-beam springer. I got one of them I-beam kickers for it too...looks like it needs to be drilled to match! Maybe I'll build an OCC-style theme bike - DRILLED! I'll just randomly drill holes in everything while my dad comes out in the garage and yells at me...
Is that some sort of goofy ride control sticking out front like that? Or maybe a friction shock? WTF,O? I do really dig those outside brake rotors - in my mind, that's the only way to make disc brakes look decent on an older bike... I also think splitting the valve covers makes those shovels look old...and cool(er)
I think what ruins that bike, other than it being too damn busy, is the bloated tank. There needs to be some open space there...that tank looks like ****. I don't get the erector set ******** on the front either. I kinda liked the Flying Pan, but this thing looks like the Flying Pan dipped in batter and deep fried. Why can't bikes just be stipped down, lighweight, and functional? Nothing wrong with a few kustom touches, but damn...
Ya I agree, the bike as a whole is to busy. The friction damper could go and It would sart to help, and that be hemouth of a brake on the rear shoulda done another peremeter discs like the front. But The craftsmanship on these bikes are outstanding, fit and finish the same way. -Jesse
