    Hello Carl:)
Not so much damage to my old cover! But as i knew that there was a clearence issue, and there was shims between the flywheel and converter, we desided to approach this diffrently on the "Killer".
We made a solid shim aproprx. 1/8" with the pilot for the converter in one pice. Mounted it between the crank and flywheel. So now we don't need other loose shims and should clear the oilgear cover!?
We are running with a new type of starter(powermaster) or something,
and last time we checked, it grabbed the flywheel more than anough:)!
I can try to take some pictures by rhis weekend?

    Carl, it's looking great!

Looks good Carl. Is that what you are going to run at Eagle in May or will you have the blower mounted?

  8. In May it will either be this one or the 4-2, the blower will have to wait for a while course if its a dog????????? who knows...........

  11. Ryan, you can come help out at Bonneville. You're always welcome and I bet you could be part of the crew at Eagle if you wanted to drive that far. :D

  23. Tim its a Raycor/Oberg series 60 racing oil filter. Gotta have clean oil and its something I can check after every race ifn I want to.......

  24. Well got the anode's in today had to drill a coupla holes into the pump cavity to allow the anode to go all the way in but since this is a race only block I don't care I could have made a spacer out of alum and welded it to the motormount but thats more weight. Now the anodes are easily replaceable..........

  25. However after careful anaylsis and looking at what I have just done...oh shit I drilled into the exhaust cavity, damn plug it up and re do the anode. Oh well thats what you get when putting ass in gear before mind.........

  26. LOL Carl- Don't sweat it at all.... If we didn't do that from time to time, something would probably be wrong! It'll be fine, and the set-up should work like a champ!
