Projects Flat FED build

  1. Well Tim since ya asked just happen to have a few, seems that the bolts holding the pulley onto the engine pulley came loose so will replace this...

    due to this.....

    hell may even loose a few lbs in the process.....and free up a coupla hp

    Will the Electric pump be big enough when you put on the huffer?

  14. 10.0 or slower no cert sticker needed, so I can't go faster then 10.0,... the magic no.

  16. Well finally got pissed enough at the ol seat cushion decided to do something about it......
    Old cushion... foam of absolutely no density..........

    New foam 2" of dense foam to park my fat ass on......

    Wood bottom to attach fabric to...........

    After a bunch of time on Momma's sewing machine WaLa............... a seat it ain't pretty but I hate upholstery work and I usually sew my fingers together and say words not in Webster's Dictionary...............so there...... and damn its comfortable......

    Nicely done Carl. Should cut a tenth off your ET and everyone knows when your butt is comfy, you'll cut a better reaction time.:)

    Looking comfy Carl;) You are Lucky to be able to do it, I was forced to do the oposite, taking the foam out to have more clearence to the hoops;/ Damm uncomfy sitting in there, strapped Down waiting up to half an hour...;) On top of that I have straind tendons while in there, that is really uncomfy....;)

  20. Yea Tim but I still hate upholstery. Now I really have to work on a wheelie bar, last time out I spent way too much time in da air. The track had plenty of traction didn't have the camera on the first run when she went about three feet high and came down real hard and shorted out some wiring that I had to fix. Ran the last runs a little less aggressive off the line and still lifted the front end................

  21. Well got some work done on the blower manifold ..................my buddy Ron put his magic touch on the welding and I am stoked...............plenum.

    Tacked the rest of the parts on so Ron can do his thing, a whole lot better than this ol codger...................
    but damn am I stoked at this so far!

    Gets bolted with allen headed tapered screws with plenty of Loctite Tim I don't want to ruin the 4-2 manifold
