Carl, Your rail is looking good. You seem to be on track for Toymakers next Day at the Drags . . . . . Sure wish we could be there to see you run.

B&S, well if they won't let me run it won't be from lack of trying, at least I will know what else to do, as I have tried to no avail to get someone from NHRA out here but thats another story....

That's one good lookin rig Carl! I'm planning on going to the Kingdon Reunion, maybe you could drag it down. Rocky

  15. Just a thought...if you're going to run water in the block, you might want to rethink the position of the cap on your crossover tube. Last thing you need is water injection at the top end!

Well lets see today is Thursday 36 days to go till Eagle, had to figure a mount for the chute (Even though I will probably never need it), but my bride wants it in and since the body already had the hole, what the hell. Found an extra hitch pin and some 1/4 plate and wa la a mount.

cool man. your fed is bitchin. we use a step ladder to get in and out of the roadster (scta rules requires roadsters doors to be inoperable) it helps :)

  24. Wonderful! A great day for sure. Love the car!
You also made my day. I am about your build (and age) but a bit shorter but have a severely broken left side ribcage. I built my FED so i can get in and out which is for me difficult anyway. I am often asked or critizised for making such a big roll bar and cage (29 inches inside ) I will never allow myself to feel bad about it again! ;>)
Anyway My congrats on your success and being in the final stages of what is obviously a great build. When are the test runs?
    Don

Thanks guys still waiting for the NHRA rep to get by and look it over, this week or next. So when that happens will take it out to test and tune then its off to Eagle Field. Starting to get excited but will need a shoehorn to get in and out, oh well that's the price you pay for happiness I guess........

Will try to make it to Kingdon on the 11th Rocky.......................

Well a buddy asked me to take the rail to a local car show, which I did. At the show a few kids came over and were looking at the rail, I of course asked if they wanted to sit in the drivers seat, they said yes. This gal was grinning ear to ear and had a smile that you could not get off of her face, mummm maybe the next Shirley? She almost looks as happy as me.................. great day off...............
