Flat motor

I know i lurk and will do and intro...i just need help quick. How many studs on a 53 flat head ford. I want the last one built not the early and think the dist is in the right place,but could somebody tell me how many head studs. Sorry about the intro and i will do it tonite. Long time lurker

 

24 stud and the water outlets are towards the front of the head, not in the center like the other 24 stud engines..

 

up till 38 was 21 stud 39-53 was 24 studs per head
distributor was in the middle in the front up till 48 and on the right on an angle from 49-53

also 37-48 had the water outlet in the middle of the head and 49-53 have it at the front

32-36 has the actual waterpump in the front of the head

Thank you going to pick it up now. 42,000 mile original with auto trans and stock air cleaner. I thought is was a 53 but not sure. Even comes with the 50th anv horn ring that was on the car. Takin out of the car in 57. Thanks guys sorry i dont post but your great. Think i did a lame ass intro but not sure. Off to pick up my new toy.
