Hot Rods Flat Top Perches

    Is there anyhting wrong with using grade 8 bolts and nyloks instead of the expensive perch bolts from Speedway or simillar companies.

    Bolts and nuts won't have the tapered seats that keep it all tight and aligned.

    If you can make some tapered cone washers for the seats in the wishbones on a Lathe it might be a cheaper way to go..
     
  4. Get some stock pins and machine the tops off. The "shank" of the perch is an odd size.
