You said yourself it was a long time ago, so I guess it don't matter but I'm tryin' to visualise this: bolt on bumper hitch-SF to Dallas-galvanized water pipe? tow bar. Can anyone else spell Insanity?

Thousands of RV'ers flat tow their own vehicles behind their motorhomes every year... U-Haul even rents tow bars.

I've towed many project vehicles over 1000 miles with my tow dolly.... that idea scares the hell out of some guys.

But not having a steering box in a car , I think, would make this flat towing idea a bad one. rent a dolly.

I've got a towbar that fits my 39 Chevy ch***is, it's also drilled so that it can be bolted on solid where the bumper brackets go allowing me to just tow them like a trailer if enough weight is off the front. An easier solution is sending 27T (Nick with the green 54) a PM or call 415-9917, he'll come haul it with my truck and trailer. Is this the Henry J?

Thanks for the offer, Todd. It is the Henry J. I'll let you know if and when I want it moved.
