VERY cool! I'd sill like to see one with the Flatcad as the 'center' piece.

Chris is in Florida at the moment, but said he would address the 'Hot Cod', the first of the week.

Don't feel any pressure to use what I made I was just messing around.

If you do want to use it, Chris could I have the font you used for "Flat Cad" so I could match it. Then I will send a black and white version your way Buddy.

take it back to the Cartoonist and have him remove the engine side panels, so we can see the Flatty. I Dig his work, he should be able to do your engine justice... My2c.

    Thanks!

Here is what we have. The PDF logo is the front 'pocket' logo, the other, for the back of the shirt.

Stay tuned- we are running in three classes!;)

This thing better be fast. Otherwise the shirt buyers are going to want their money back.

Not me. Not at Bonneville anyway. That Salt Cat destroyed my old XO record. Still hanging on at El Mirage and Muroc. Since we don't go to Muroc anymore, that one is looking safe.

White is a WHOLE lot cooler on the salt...We are talking comfort here now.
Black is cooler (like the Fonze) at night.
    Get some of each.

Personally i dig black shirts, so once i finalize the linework I'll drop em over black backgrounds as well as white.

In other news, we are working few other designs, and we need some thoughts this following one, so feel free to chime in. Buddy and i tossed around the idea of one logo highlighting the blown flat cad. The original idea was to have the motor haulin ass on 4 wheels, which the rough sketch looked like this:
[IMG]Neither of us dug it. It just doesn't look right.

So i took the wheels out and just featured the motor in motion:
This is better... but we're not convinced that it's quite as strong a theme as the other designs we have (one of which is featured on the page above. The other will drop soon)

Any suggestions to highlight the motor.. or even the idea of the Flatcad would be appreciated!

  22. I was just going to say the same thing -- though I love black shirts, I won't be wearing them on the salt and baking my already old hide!

For some reason, I thought there might be more than 3 responses!

I like the second design without the wheels best.

Is that just a rough sketch?

I think it would look good cleaned up some, move the engine / trans back to the left a little, center it under the letters and in the circle. Loose the dust or smoke off the trans. Leave it coming out of the exhaust.

There just didn't seem to be anything left to say after the "Hot Cod" post. I was hoping you would run with it. If nothing else it would sure keep people guessing. Maybe in the future.

  27. I'm not quite sure what logo/design is the one to vote on at this point - may want to repost what the contenders are :D

Okay, the first logo is a done deal, for BVGC.
The BVGCC logo(not pictured) is done, and you'll be seeing it real soon.
The last two logos are for BVGALT. We just can't seem to get one that's worthy!

I like the last one on the right...I like it that it is uncentered. The one I like the most though is on the far left the graphic of the whole car.

Personally Id like to see the engine in 3/4 view instead of side view maybe going up with the Flat Cad at an angle...........
