There is a nice shot of the Cad in the March 2014 Issue of R&C. Sadly-no text.

  7. Thanks Kjeil - you have a fantastic New Years as well and thank you for all your support over the year and for being a 'partner in flathead crime'! Looking forward to 2014!

    To Everyone . . .

The FlatCad team is very fortunate to have each and every HAMB, LSR and other supporter who has followed us through the thick and thin. Without you guys cheering us on, contributing to our efforts and putting up with all our BS and various other acts of childishness, we'd not have a chance for success.

I also want to thank our Sponsors as well as the families of every member of the team. It takes a ton of time (away from those we love) and a boatload of $$$ to chase these dreams and achieve the successes we've had and the ones we plan to have - your contributions are everything.

Okay - time to run out the end of 2013 and get ready for 2014 . . .

    and onto 200 MPH Baby!

    Happy New Year!

    B&S

If I ever hit the Lotto I would donate a very large sum just to get another tutti frutti.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Well, we haven't been around much, but we have been busy!

Bob and Danny have been color sanding the car, and rewiring everything. The car looks great! see pic. The car should show well at GNRS!

Don has been working on the mockup engine, and working with lock n stitch to repair the block. They repaired the known damage, only to find more. see pics. Good news though, the block should be finished in a week!

We have a new tee design, that we will roll out at GNRS.

Finally, here is a video for you to watch. We entered into the Champion sponsorship contest, and Misty Willey of Tulsa, OK did a couple of videos for us. Misty and Glen, Thank you SO MUCH! :

Too bad they couldn't resurrect the 8mm shot of the big sign any better.

Is the "show" engine a runner, or just an extremely beautiful shell?

Engine looks AMAZING. What's the deal with the holes in the blower drive pulley? Cut down on rotating mass or just for mock up?

Once again, I'd like to thank everybody that has been helping us!

We are still in the 23rd spot. Now I know, if we can get just another small percentage of the HAMB to jump on board, we could own this thing.

Please copy this post and post it on your own threads, facebook, heck-send it to friends in an email!

The FlatCad crew is looking for some good ole' fashioned HAMB support!

We'd sure like you to register and vote for the FlatCad coupe in the Champion Spark Plugs 'Search for a Champion' contest that starts tomorrow. Lets be honest, we could use the money to help us be the first flathead powered competition coupe to go over 200 at Bonneville. The world needs more things 'flat' that breathe fire, make noise, haul ass and excite the masses - and we plan on delivering just that!

Our Entry: - you can vote once a day, so do :D

Dates: January 6th - February 2 . . . if we make it to a Top 15 finalist, we'll be begging for more support. :)

    http://alwaysachampion.com/search-fo...4#.Usltv_RDtuJ

Voting Registration: - Yes, you have to register, not a big deal . . . its the 'rules'

    https://alwaysachampion.com/search-f...register/voter

Purpose: We'd like to show Champion and the entire racing community that a traditional, totally bad-ass engine stuffed in what once was Dad's old 'grocery getter' coupe, built buy a talented team of average guys . . . who all came together on the HAMB - is exactly what they should care about and WANT to sponsor. Why the hell not?

    Thanks again, friends!

I want to thank everyone supporting us on this! Kudos to you!

I have no doubt that if we can get the HAMB behind us, we can win this contest!

It's up to all of you-let the roundy rounders and drag cars win, or bring home a win for the vintage hot rodders!

    Thanks everyone!

Don, that's a helluva job you are doing!

I REALLY appreciate all of the help and support we are getting! A week into the contest, and we are running 25th, so we have some work to do still.

One more time I must ask you to share the link with all your friends, and encourage them to participate. I know we can do this, but it won't be easy!

    Thanks again!

Guys, we've moved up 2 spots to 23rd!

If everyone that's voting could convince 1 person-relative, friend, dog, cat, etc., to start voting, we could take this straight to the top!

Thanks for all of the support! http://alwaysachampion.com/search-fo...4#.Usltv_RDtuJ
