Technical Flathead 6-cyl and V8 Bell Housings

    Hi All,
    Does anyone know if the 8BA truck intermediate bell housings and those found on the 8HA 6-cyl truck housings are the same or different? We are talking about the truck models with floor shift.

    V8 and L6 are different and dont interchange

    I see what it looks like now, is that the starter plate behind the bottom picture? Looks like a full plate.

    The same on the transmission side, but different on the engine side. It's a no-go.

    I can get a photo of just the plate if you need it. That setup is for the six going into my speedster.
