    Hi
My friend is puttin a ´85 camaro T-5 behind a 59 A Flattie and using an original ford pressure plate. The adaptor uses original Ford style shift rod and and he is having a sleeve made over the input shaft...BUT because not buying a complete kit which clutch disk should be used ????
    Thanks

a camaro t5 will limit your options, it has the fine spline input shaft. It was available in a 10" and maybe 11", if you measure the useable area of the pressure plate, you can pick out the best fit or get a custom disc made for around $40 US

I'm gonna jump in here too, as I'm in a similar situation, but maybe different spline? S-10 T-5 to a 59A, using a 10" Ford pressure plate. Can anyone help with a clutch disc for this application?

    Thanks,

    Neal

  5. If you want a name brand, call up Centerforce and tell them your spline count (14) and your diameter (10") and have them give you a part number. You can also try a local parts supplier and ask them if you can look in the back for a clutch disc, tell them what you are doing and they should have something for a 14 spline 10" clutch, I believe I heard some Chrysler clutch would work.

I'm using a GM part#15649180, I think it's for an Astro van or something.........it fits and works perfectly with the T-5 and Ford pressure plate.

s10/astro/camaro give you the 9/10/11" discs, but the spline is different between them. 14 or 24 or something. I actually got one for a jeep 2wd and used it with my 62 flywheel and plate.

You nailed it. No interference with flywheel bolts.

  9. I checked my Flathead Jack catalog, they list 4 for the chevy T-5 tranny, they are the Weber brand...

    #270820 1" 14 spline street strip $115
    #270810 1" 14 spline performance $138
    #26027R 1 1/8" 26 spline sreeet strip $115
    #260170R 1 1/8" 26 spline performance $138

I'm sure you can find these cheeper....

You might to list this thread on Fordbarn for I thought I remember someone saying that there was a clutch shop in NY state that will make up any combo for around $40-$50.

Weber stuff is great & probally get it cheaper that from Good Ole Jackie Boy.

    Good luck.

Try Cornhusker, he sells 9-10-11 inch discs for the S-10.
