Flathead & Auto

Anyone ever fitted an auto to a Mopar flathead 6? If so, how'd you go about it, what trans, etc. etc??? I have a 54 Dodge (Australian, same as Canadian) with a 23" BIG BLOCK engine. Might be interested in doing a conversion to make it easier for my wife to drive.

look up Wilcap- they make an adapter to GM auto trans.
BTW- 23" is small motor, 25" is the big one, but it doesn't matter, the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same.
