Hot Rods Flathead blew up today

The customer decided to hop up and rebuild the motor.its going to h&h flathead in a couple days.should have a little more pep in the step now

 

It can happen to SBC's also, this one I believe was a cast piston letting go.
When I bought the ex-strip 55 Chevy , the engine was fresh sitting on a stand looked good with all the goodies on it ,tunnel ram, 2 Holleys, etc, owner says it's all new done right with all the right parts inside ..got receipts..aaahh..bought it anyways .
Got a couple of fun years out of it .
