I just bought an aluminum 2X2 intake manifold for a Cadillac 346 flathead. It’ll go on a project I’ve got. [emoji15]$575[emoji15] including delivery. Seems really reasonable to me. IMG_0421.JPG

    It’s new. Crazy story.
Frank Burrell worked for Cadillac during WW2, they developed this manifold for the tank engines. WW2 ended and Cadillac drops the project, let’s Frank have the tooling and idea. He made several over the years and eventually passed away.
Fast forward 75 years, his son Barry has the tooling from Franks old things after he passed so now Barry sells a few a year- for$500 plus shipping. He said he has 3 more. When they’re gone he’ll have 11 more cast, he’ll machine them and put them on the shelf til somebody wants one........ :)

I'm glad to hear he is doing this. That is a righteous price for a rare piece of speed equipment such as this.:)

I would expect that when this gets out, all 14 will be gone quickly.

Are these still available, does anyone have contact info for the guy making them? I'd love to have one for my '41 Cadillac convertible. Or if there's a wait list to get one, I'd like to get on that list. Any info would be great. There does not seem to be a Flatcaddy website anymore.

Looks like you just have to keep an eye on eBay. Any previously linked websites are down and unsecure. There are mentions of emailing: contacting him direct if you can find that info. I would find the old eBay auctions and attempt emailing him through that system
If I were going to try to get one
