flathead cam help

    building my first flatty. now its a 39 24 stud motor. all stock but its apart now everything looks good. the piston are clean. and its getting a valve job and new seals. now i wanted to run a 400jr cam by isky. the motor is going to have a 2 deuce setup on it with a set of aftermarket headers. anyone out there running this cam,is it a good cam.? or any other suggestions?......

    It's a very good cam, but thats a lot of cam for your eng. Are you planning on making it larger in cubes? You will need to check the valve to head clearance when using this cam. I would opt for something ( just a little ) less wilder. That's just me.
