Hey everyone! I am making some progress on "the Plague". (1951 Ford Tudor) My clutch is just about shot. Chatters and slips like crazy. I just got it drivable enough to take it for 30 mile jaunts to Green Bay and Appleton and now this happens. Where do you guys buy your clutches, pressure plates, and throw-out bearings from? I checked all the locals (NAPA, Autozone, Checker, and Advance), none of them handle anything clutch related for my '51. (I have had luck with other parts with those guys) Help please...I want to be able to drive this*****er to The Hunnert this year! Thanks! Mike

I live in the capitol city of my state......so it is not real small................so...........we have a parts rebuilder. He can reline brake shoes, rebuild water pumps and do clutch disc and stuff. He surfaced the 283 SBC Chevy flywheel, relined the 1940 Ford clutch disc and rebuilt the 1950 Mercury pressure plate in my 40 Ford with 283 for around $110. There must be a parts rebuilder in your area or in Green Bay.
Macs is definately where I am getting the disk and the throw out bearing, but man are they exspensive on the pressure plate! Anyone know where I can get a cheaper pressure plate? Thanks again, Mike
