i have had an oil leak from the rear seal of my french block flathead since i built it .everything is new ,scat crank and rods ect. i noticed yesterday that there is no counterclockwise scroll on the crank where the rope seal sits ,all the original ford cranks i have looked at have one. i have replaced the rope seals five times and i'm sick of it.are scat cranks supposed to have the scroll? i am running a pcv valve , so the engine is breathing ,tried different oil, different rope seals ,checked bearing clearance . thanks
