Technical Flathead Distributor Disassembly

    Any suggestions on how to get the innards out of the housing? I believe it should just push out but it is stuck good.

    Yep, you have all the grippy bits removed. Maybe you can sneak a punch with a little curve inside there to give it some love taps. Make sure to not nick the edges or it might stick worse than it already is.

    Soaking it in some PB Blaster and will give it some of those love taps tomorrow.

    Just trying to learn something new and will most likely list it in the cl***ifieds. I got it apart with a lil heat and a lot of PB Blaster. Now looking for the correct points and parts to put it back together.
    Is this a '37-41 distributor? I checked VanPelt's site but don't see any diagrams for '35-36...same? It's stamped 68 in a couple places.

    2 bolt coil says '37-'41.
    '32- early '36 3 bolt coil, late '36 is a unique 2 bolt coil.
