Get some flanges and a few U band pieces from Speedway or JC whitney and make em. Tractor Supply has steelpacks used to be $18 when I got mine. Use 2" for the center pipe & flange, big tube, BIG voice. I think cast headers absorb some sound, quieter.

I know for certain Fenton headers absorb some noise. I have them in my A with a 8BA, but I'm done with noisy exhausts anyway. I have the middle size Smithys behind that, and I very happy. No H pipe.

What is Tractor Supply and is there a website?

Google TSC they probably have a store near you.

I run Fentons with straightpipes. No sense in havin a flatmotor if you can't hear it!!!!

  7. I just used a lake style kit from speedway and build my own, and I forgot to install pipes and mufflers. Sounds great, just a small baffle in there.

Tack the slices together. Tiny 6011 rod AC 40 amps to go flange to pipe, otherwise gas weld the rest. 2" pipe from center port to muffler. I used a bare dirty block to construct on the engine stand, try on the car as I go. bolted down, no warp.
Ford made the see-thru tractor muffler 2" inlet 1 1/2 outlet.

Partick's told me the bolt holes on Fenton headers from Speedway don't fit on the p***enger side. Those are the only ones he sells. He is in the process of making his own Fenton style cast headers. They'll be available in 60-90 days. I'm, thinking of waiting for them since Patrick rules!
