Hey fellas, a little help here? I'm getting ready to put the 8BA back in my shoebox, and have an aluminum Fidanza flywheel. Found a 10 1/2" clutch and pressure plate to match, and everything lines up. The bolt holes (pressure plate to flywheel) are 5/16".

Now for the question: I believe these bolts are supposed to be safety wired (dissimilar materials, lotsa torque and vibration, etc.). I can't locate bolts drilled for safety wire, so can I use Grade 8 bolts and drill them in my drill press?

Will the Grade 8 bolts be sufficient? Should I go with something harder like chromoly?
