Years ago these came with a 40 pickup I bought. Just sitting loose in the box. I just did a search to ID these heads and didn't find it. The only thing I see on the heads is a capital "A" and the ford script below it. Any idea what they are from ?

81A prefix heads, used on 221's 1938-around 1941, their are a bunch of variations in the small openings to take early and late (like those shown) temp senders and to allow for the new hot water heater in '39.
Full pn may be on upper edge of heads near manifold.

Your heads show an electric sender for temp gauge...1940 was the first year for that, and the hole in head was different for the mechanical gauges, so quite likely those are the original heads from the pickup.
    Nice patina!
