Flathead ford from a welder?

    39-40 flatheads had a crankshaft driven fan like your welder pic has on it—-however beware that a lot of parts from different years engine will fit or interchange with different flathead engines so it could be a “Johnny Cash” special. Different year pans will interchange,different year heads, different dizzy setup,etc —all I can see is 24 studs on each head with water pumps in the block indicating 38-48. 37 was a one year only that still had 21 studs but pump s moved from head in2 block. 32-36 were 21 stud and pumps were in the heads. 49-53 had 24 studs(bolts actually)but had a removable or bolt on bellhousing. 5DAAC4BF-88D0-426A-A45F-098DFAD08CB2.jpeg

    Thats good, it means people are searching thru old threads before asking a question thats been covered many times.
