Flathead guide seal

Im putting the valve guides in a 49 8ba. All the guides have the recess machined in them for seals. Question is do I only install the seals in the intake guides or all of them? Ive only have heard people talking about installing seals on the intake and not on the exhaust. Thanks, Craig

 

If you're talking about those square cut "o"rings, I think a gasket kit only comes with enough to do the intake guides. Unless your guides are really roomy, I wouldn't worry too much.
