Guys, I have this cam I score years ago unused and am curious as to which brand of cam it is.....I seem to recall that it was reground from a Potvin master, but which Potvin cam it could be I don't know. The specs are as follows: Lift: Int/Exh .390" Dur @ .050": 246 Lobe Sepn: 112 deg Not sure what the cam's pverlap is. Can anyone identify this cam from the specs and if so, what the actual overlap is? Thanx, Rat
My guess - a 'Climax 400' . . . I think that was the name it was called. That is the only other grind between the 425 and 3/8 that I know of - and the lift seems about right. Hey Pete - you happen to know? Hey Rat - I got your eMail . . . will post back ASAP! Dale
Ok....thx Dale. Climax ??? What a weird ass name for a cam HAHA, this ain't that kinda website fellas.... Now, anyone know the actual specs of the Potvin "Climax" ? Esp overlap? Im curious as at 112 lobe sep, it might be suitable for a blown combo ? Rat
Here is a list of Potvin Cams and a spec card I received from Bill Jenks when he ground a 3/8 Super for me years ago. Jerry
